Sew on a cup chain (slim brow band)

Tools and Equipment

• slim brow band
• yarn (waxed)
• matching leather needle
• small pincers
• scrissor
• empty cup chain

Place 2 or 3 knots at the end of the yarn. Now pass the yarn from inside the last empty cup through the small hole at the side.

Now we use the existing holes at the side where the brow band loop is sewed together to fix the end of our chain: just pass the needle from the top of the brow band through the last hole to the back of the brow band and then back to the top though the adverse hole.

Pull the yarn through on the top of the brow band and then pass it back again though a hole to the back side.

We now pass the yarn along the brow band on the back side. Between every two empty cups pass the yarn around the brow band back to the back side. On the back side pass it through the yarn loop.

For a better fixation you should additionally place a knot here at least every 4 or 5 cups.

We work this way alon the complete brow band. The end of the cup chain will be fixed like the beginning: through the existing holes and shoudl end inside the last cup.
